Grow Clinton Drives Infrastructure Investment and Business Expansion at Lincolnway Industrial Rail &

Grow Clinton, the nonprofit organization leading economic and community development in the Greater Clinton Region, continues to spearhead progress at the Lincolnway Industrial Rail & Air Park. Strategically located along U.S. Highway 30, the park has rapidly emerged as a hub for industrial growth and private-sector investment, including Atlas Roofing Corporation’s $250 million asphalt shingle plant.

Robust infrastructure development has been central to the park’s success. Iowa American Water Company recently extended a 12-inch water main through the park, simultaneously benefiting the neighboring community of Low Moor. According to Andy Sokolovich, President & CEO of Grow Clinton, “Ensuring reliable access to utilities like electricity, gas, sewer, water, and fiber internet is essential for business attraction and retention.”

Continuing that momentum, Super 8 Logistics, LLC, a new 100,000-square-foot warehouse and intermodal facility led by Clausen Companies CEO Pete Clausen, is slated for development in 2025. The project includes a 35-acre land acquisition from the City of Clinton and will utilize Union Pacific rail service, reinforcing the park’s multimodal transportation value.

To support the facility’s utility needs, Eastern Iowa Light & Power Cooperative will extend electric service with an infrastructure investment totaling $38,716, funded by Grow Clinton. “Eastern Iowa Light and Power Cooperative is proud to support the Lincolnway Industrial Rail and Air Park,” said Don Roth, Division Manager of Member Relations. “This investment reflects a strong commitment to strategic community growth and long-term economic development.”

Grow Clinton’s utility investment also strengthens its longstanding relationship with Clausen Companies. “On behalf of everyone involved in the Super 8 Logistics development project, I want to thank Grow Clinton for stepping up and serving as the utility developer,” said Pete Clausen. “Their leadership and support are a testament to the organization’s mission to promote business growth, build community, and advocate for sustainable economic success across the Greater Clinton Region.”

In times of economic uncertainty, Grow Clinton remains a steadfast partner for businesses of all sizes. By ensuring access to critical infrastructure and championing a favorable business climate, the organization continues to fuel job creation and community development.
