MERCYONE CLINTON AND LIFESERVE BLOOD CENTER ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP

LifeServe Blood Center and MercyOne Clinton Medical Center are excited to announce their partnership with LifeServe becoming the primary supplier of blood and blood products to the medical center and the patients who entrust their care to the facility.

It is impossible to know who will need blood at any given time, but when individuals donate blood with LifeServe, they can be assured that it will go back to someone in need in their community. “We’re thrilled to be offering members of the Clinton community and the surrounding area the opportunity to make sure their donation stays local,” said Tim Paluch, PR/Marketing Director at LifeServe Blood Center. “You never know when you, your neighbor, a family member, or a friend may need a lifesaving blood transfusion; and when they do, those blood products will come from blood donors who give with LifeServe.”

The first opportunity to give back is at a blood drive coming up on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in Conference Room A at MercyOne Clinton Medical Center (1410 N. 4th Street). To schedule an appointment, visit lifeserve.info/schedule or call 800.287.4903. To expedite the donation process on the day, donors are encouraged to utilize QuickPass, a webbased computer assisted self-interview program available on mobile phones, tablets and computers, that allows donors to answer required health history questions independently, in a private setting that’s convenient on the day of their donation. To access, visit lifeserve.info/quickpass.
