Air Control Inc. (ACI), a certified woman-owned small business based in Clinton, Iowa, announced that the Board of Directors has promoted Sean Connell to President. Former President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mary Connell will continue to serve as CEO.
Mary has been with Air Control Inc. for over four decades, with 37 years as President and CEO. During that time, she played an integral role in the growth and development of the company, founded by her father, Vern Witt, in 1956. Reflecting on this transition, Mary expressed her excitement and pride in seeing her son take on this leadership role. “After serving as Air Control, Inc.’s President for the past 37 years, I am pleased to announce the future presidency of Sean Connell,” stated Mary Connell. “Sean has been employed at ACI since 2003, becoming an owner in 2014 and promoted to Vice President in 2017. Sean has worked extremely hard to improve the company and live out our core mission of ensuring the stability and care of our employees, customers, and community. His grandfather would be extremely proud, as am I.”
