Office/Fleet Manager

Office/fleet manager oversees the operations of a company's vehicle fleet, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. This includes tasks like vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and compliance with regulations. They are responsible for optimizing the fleet's performance and minimizing operational risks. 
 
Fleet Management Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Scheduling regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections for the fleet.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles are properly registered, insured, and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Tracking vehicle assets, parts, and supplies.
  • Technology Utilization: Using fleet management software to track vehicles, monitor performance, and generate reports. 
Key Skills:
  • Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively is crucial.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed for interacting with staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Addressing issues related to both office administration and fleet operations.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Awareness of relevant regulations for both office operations and vehicle management. 
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Past management experience
  • Proficient in excel
  • Experience in a trades field
  • Background of inventory/purchasing knowledge
  • Experience writing service contracts
  • Dispatch knowledge
  • 3-5 years office experience
Work Hours/Shift:
  • 1st shift (Monday – Friday)
Wage:
  • $60,000 + depending on skills/qualifications
