Grow Clinton Hosts Candidate Forums
Every election cycle, Grow Clinton hosts a candidate forum. This year there are two separate forums. On Monday, October 20, Grow Clinton will host the City of Camanche council candidates and Camanche School District school board candidates in a forum. The forum starts at 6pm and is located at Camanche City Hall, located at 818 7th Avenue. The forum will also be live streamed on the City of Camanche’s YouTube page. Langrehr of Clinton, Iowa—born November 4, 1924, and passed away April 23, 2025—will be recognized as a Hometown Hero during a special ceremony on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Clinton County Freedom Rock, located along the Mississippi Riverfront next to the Showboat Theatre in Clinton.
